Power of One: An NGO to help Stray Animals in India

It is obvious that we are progressing, the country is developing, and at the same time, there is an increasing need for genuine non-governmental organizations. Why is it so? To alleviate the suffering of living creatures, including animals, NGOs serve the public in many ways with common goals. Usually, NGOs are non-government organizations having common objectives to benefit the community in various ways. Their working fields and practices might differ based on their specific objectives and purpose in running their projects. Some NGOs work on particular plans, whereas many support society in multiple ways.

The Power of one is a similar NGO located in Nagpur. Since 2016, it has served the locals and needy from surrounding regions. The Power of One extends its helping hand to provide education, medical aid, food, and cloth to the destitute. The Power of One is famous for treating animals, especially helping stray animals. They do not limit themselves just by supporting others but also participate in creating awareness through events and news magazines. They prepare banners and flyers to alert people to drive carefully, ultimately saving one’s life and others, including stray dogs and animals.

The Power of One focuses equally on treating animals with care. The Power of One NGO volunteers have served these living creatures by feeding them, treating their broken bones, cleaning their wounds and bruises, adopting stray animals, etc. In short, the NGO volunteer team looks after every living creature with equal eyes, whether humans or animals.

Initially, these NGOs were created in small groups by people with leisure time and a soft corner to serve others. But today, joining an NGO is like grabbing an opportunity to serve the community and nation. It has become a way to serve humanity. We do not have many funds or extra hands, but fitting in a group and donating a small amount makes a big difference in people’s lives. And that’s what the Power of One NGO is doing now.
